Welcome to our first grade. My name is Dorothy Clayton. This is my seventeenth year teaching first grade at Becky-David.  I also have three years experience in kindergarten. 

My goal is to provide a safe and happy environment in which your child’s desire to learn, self concept and potential are developed and nurtured to the fullest extent possible.  I am anxious to work with you to provide the best possible first grade experience for your child.  Research indicates that parent involvement is a key factor in a child’s success in school.  Let’s build excellence together.  Read a story today.
