 Brandi Bain Memorial Library

The library is a focal point of learning at Becky-David.  The library promotes reading for pleasure and for information, as well as the integration of information literacy into all curricular areas.  The library contributes to the development of life-long learners.

The library has over 20,000 books.  We have periodicals for students and teachers.  There is access to online data bases and the Internet.  We use a flexible schedule at Becky-David for lessons but a fixed schedule for check outs.  This is to encourage collaboration with classroom teachers so library skills are being taught at the point of needs of the students.

The purpose of the Brandi Bain Memorial Library is to enable students to learn.  The library media program contributes to the success of each student by developing reading and information literacy skills.  We provide the intellectual resources necessary to support the curriculum and help students understand and utilize critical thinking skills.
