John Brune-Head Coach/Quarterbacks/Offensive Coordinator

Coach Brune graduated from Owensville High School in 1995 and attended Central Missouri State University from 1995-2000.  He started his coaching career at Crest Ridge High School as a defensive coordinator. From 1998-2000 the Cougars compiled a record of 21-12 with 2 conference and district championships and a quarterfinal appearance.  Upon college graduation, coach Brune came to Howell North as an assistant coach for the 2001 season.  After one year, coach Brune was named the head coach.  The Knights have had a great deal of success over the past seven seasons including 2 conference championships.  Coach Brune is very happy to be a Knight and his wife, Bronwen, daughter, Rhiannon (5), and son, Zane (3), are very glad to be a part of this community and look forward to seasons to come.
